“Occupy Wall Street Day 36 10.22.2011.

I went down to Zuccotti Park again. I think I didn’t give enough credit to those people who stay there for already more than a month.

They won with Mayor Bloomberg- again. (The first time when they didn’t leave for cleaning the park-they cleaned it on their own). This time they have tents in the park,which for sure will keep them warm during cold days…. to read more go here.….

Linda Evans- an actress, known primarily for her roles on television, and rose to fame playing Audra Barkley in the 1960s Western TV series, The Big Valley (1965–1969). Her most prominent role was that of Krystle Carrington in the 1980s ABC prime time television soap opera Dynasty, a role she played from 1981 to 1989.
Linda attended her event at the Barnes and Noble on 86th street NYC on October 13 2011. She was promoting her book : Recipes for Life: My Memories.

I have seen many bad movies but “Contagion” is making the top of the list. My list to be clear. It really pairs well with sleeping. It is a movie where basically nothing is happening. You are waiting for some action but it is just not coming. A lot of talking becomes boring to sit through the movie. Some of the characters die to soon. Gwyneth Paltrow made barely few scenes at this flick.
Good actors don’t always make a good film.
And what is “Contagion” all about? It is a story about a new disease that spreads through the world , killing people in just a few days. Group of scientist is straggling to invent a vaccine. Matt Damon (Mitch Emhoff in the movie) is immune to the illness. He survives but his wife (Gwyneth Paltrow) and his step son (Griffin Kane) aren’t that lucky.
I didn’t lough. I didn’t cry. I didn’t “wow” while watching the flick. It left in me no other emotions than disappointment. I don’t recommend it. You will waste your time- better go for a walk. And remember to not touch anybody and to wash your hands.

Who would think that I will end up standing at front of the cameras???? Not only stand but also talk! Yes.You can see me in my first LIVE performance on Live Aladino Show from NYC. The show took place on July 15 2011. I was co-hosting (and improvising and it was completely, totally impromptu performance).

This is an animation based on the book “The Little Prince” by Antoine De Saint-Exupery.
I am not attaching action script because it is too complicated and just too much.
Just enjoy the animation.

Guess what it actually is. I really like this image… it is so colorful. You have no idea what it actually presents. And that’s why I really like it.

I took the photo and then played little bit with photoshop. Look closely at the smoke that comes out from the cigarette.

Adobe came with this awesome idea of online Museum of Digital Media. (AMDM). It is an virtual space designed to showcase digital work. The huge advantage is the museum is open to the public 365 days a year, 24 hours a day and is accessible from anywhere in the world.

The whole idea is really cool,and visually it is really pleasing. The building of the museum was designed by Italian architect Filippo Innocenti. This building doesn’t exist anywhere else,but in this virtual space. Personally I don’t like the voice of the tour guide. Some parts are maybe little too annoying, like the page of exhibit, but the general interaction with user and interface of the page is really great.

At the moment you can see an exhibit of Tony Oursler, a New York artist. (Kinda freaky).

I was reading articles about canon 5d… I have found art. that there is a rumor new Canon 5d Mark III is coming at the end of the next year.. hmmmmm…. I wonder what will Canon add besides to the 35-40megapixels….

“It looks like the popularity of Canon’s full-frame DSLR (and powerful, but flawed video camera) is enough to warrant another sequel. While some would say that cheaper, but equally capable cropped-sensor cameras like the 7D represent a better value, the 5D has its own charm and I’m sure Canon will be capitalizing on that — next year, if Vincent Laforet is to be believed.

At an workshop over the weekend, the well-known photographer suggested that Canon might be putting out a successor to the mk II in 2011. I stopped by in the bookstore today and I have found some interesting items there. I fall in love with “EXPOSED: 10 Years in Hollywood” by Mark Liddell. Mark Liddell is a celebrity photographer.

The other book that I liked a lot was : “Contemporary Fashion Photographers” edited by Natalie Viaux.

(I don’t really care how many people will follow me, because I am not a leader and to be honest this blog is more for me than for you. I just come across some interesting info every day and it is really hard to keep a track of all web sites i see, names I want to remember,tutorials that are cool to learn…. and so on. This blog is supposed to be my little helper, planner and organizer. I can keep all things I want to come back to in one place.
If you find it also helpful and useful- it will just make me happy. )

This blog will have a minimum of writing, because believe me my writing skills simply suck… therefore what you will find here will be a show case of my recent work, some tips, links that I think are worth to check, some information that I find useful, guidelines for photography and design.
